The Superior Shear Connector is an optional accessory to the Superior Panel Base Anchor (PBA 10K)  that is a permanent connection of concrete panels to footings and provides both in-plane and out-of-plane shear resistance to the PBA 10K.

When the shear connector is used with the PBA 10K, a greater ultimate strength capacity of up to 15,000 lbs. of shear resistance in-plane and out-of-plane* occurs than when the PBA 10K is used by itself.

The Panel Base Anchor and optional shear connector can be used in solid panels, insulated sandwich panels and insulated composite panels. They can also be applied to anchor site cast tilt-up panels or plant casted precast panels.
