To adhere to such an aggressive construction schedule, White Construction relied on trusted manufacturers and suppliers, along with the site’s 200 workers, to get the job done right. For the foundation anchor bolt package and epoxy grout, White Construction turned to the expertise of Dayton Superior. Dayton Superior was able to provide the highest quality on a tight delivery schedule with little lead time.

When fully completed in the spring of 2012, each of the 94 turbines will generate 1.6 MW, providing power to over 45,000 homes. In addition, the wind farm will provide $29 million in property tax revenue for the area.

Prior to the start of construction, as White Construction reviewed their options for foundation anchor bolt packages and epoxy grout, their representatives visited Dayton Superior’s Parsons, Kansas manufacturing facility to begin the qualification process. Impressed with the plant operations, White Construction also appreciated the company’s ability to issue one P.O. for epoxy grout, the anchor bolt package and bolt caps.

Dayton Superior was also able to easily coordinate their manufacturing abilities with the tight delivery schedule – never missing a delivery deadline, while keeping communication lines open with White Construction to ensure their needs were met.
