The Superior Plate Dowel System is comprised of two components that consist of a plastic sleeve and a steel plate.

These components are used together to provide stability at the concrete joint by allowing the positive transfer of load to offer a smooth slab-to-slab transition.

The Superior Plate Dowel is used when a slab-to-slab transition occurs and stability of the concrete joint is required. The plastic sleeve is nailed to lumber edge forms and a steel plate then slides into the sleeve.
