The D295 Bar Lock® Bolt is used to lock rebar in place with the Bar Lock Coupler. The Bar Lock Bolt uses a pointed end to lock the rebar in place by fully fastening the bolt into the coupler, engaging and assembling the rebar with the coupler. The bolt is fully assembled when the cap of the bolt is sheared off during assembly.
